AIRBORNE: 50 YEARS OF AVIATION POSTERS FROM THE PAUL LIPSCHUTZ SAMLING COLLECTION
Availability: | In stock |
A very well-designed aviation poster advertising an exhibition called "Airborne".
The exhibition took place at Swedish National Museum of Science and Technology in Stockholm and 1984 it featured a large exhibition of airplane posters from the last 50 years.
The poster is designed by the Danish artist Per Arnoldi who is a self-taught, world-renowned modernist artist. He is particularly known for his posters and considered one of Denmark's most important poster artists. He is known for a tight and easily recognizable form and color language. As a painter, Per Arnoldi always uses primary colors (red/yellow/blue) on a bed of white - just like on this very poster.
